CANCELLATION

Free:

Destination booking       up to 60 minutes before departure

Hourly booking up to 12 hours before departure

50% of the fare:

WAITING TIME ON PICK-UP 

 Free waiting time for all pick-up locations except the airport:

15 minutes from the agreed pick-up time

Economy light: 30 minutes, starting from actual landing.

All other booking classes: 60 minutes, starting from actual landing.

If no flight number was specified when booking, the regular waiting time of 15 minutes applies, regardless of the actual arrival time.

Extension of waiting time for all pick-up locations:

Destination booking:

The passenger can ask the driver for additional waiting time. Extending the waiting time cannot be guaranteed. The driver will decide whether this is possible or not, depending, for example, on his future journeys on his schedule. The following costs are incurred:

0.55 EUR/USD/GBP per minute plus tax. These charges are incurred in the currency in which they were booked.

Hourly booking:

The hourly booking starts with the arrival of the customer or after the waiting time has elapsed; the driver will stay booked for the passenger for duration of the reservation.  

MEETING POINT WITH THE DRIVER FOR AIRPORT PICK-UP

(only if flight number is specified)

Outside the baggage claim area at the gate assigned to the specified flight number (if provided), unless Sixt communicates otherwise. The driver will be holding a pickup sign with the name of the passenger. If the driver cannot be found, please contact the driver or Sixt mydriver at +49 30 340 440 440. 

STOP-OFFS

Destination booking:

Stop-offs are possible if the request is indicated in the "Special requirements" field under PASSENGER DETAILS and confirmed in writing by the travel service provider. A spontaneous stop-off on site will be possible only with the driver's agreement.

For stop-offs, additional kilometre charges and additional waiting times may apply, see Additional Kilometres and Waiting Time at Pickup sections. 

Hourly booking:

The driver can be informed of any desired stop-offs directly on site. 

If you have a specific wished route when booking, please share it under "Special requirements" in PASSENGER DETAILS.

As long as the stop-offs are within the booked time window, no additional fees will be charged. However, additional kilometre fees may apply, see Additional Kilometres section.

All kilometres are free within the city limits (start and destination addresses must be in the same city). Start and end addresses in different cities include 50 km/hour.

Extending the booking period for hourly bookings

In order to extend the booking, the customer must inform Sixt mydriver and receive a confirmation before starting the journey. If you would like to spontaneously extend it on site, the driver will decide whether this is possible depending on connecting trips.  It is only possible to extend it in 1 hour blocks for a fee.

Additional kilometres

The following is charged per additional kilometre:

Total price of the booking / originally booked distance = fee per additional kilometre

For example:

50 EUR/10 KM = 5 EUR per additional kilometre

These fees will be charged to the passenger after the journey.

If there are tolls within the area of the additional kilometres, the passenger must pay these him/herself.

EGYPT - London Cab

CANCELLATION

Free:

up to 60 minutes before departure

50% of the fare:

100% of the fare:

Fewer than 31 minutes before departure

WAITING TIME ON PICK-UP 

Free waiting time for all pick-up locations except the airport:

10 minutes from the agreed pick-up time

The travel service provider must immediately be informed of changes to the arrival and departure times in writing. If the passenger wishes to be picked up at a time other than the time offered, the passenger or person booking must inform the service provider and agree on a new pick-up time.

The passenger must arrive at the transportation service provider's counter at MUC airport immediately after the flight has landed in order not to lose their right to transport.

If it is not possible for the passenger to go to the service provider's counter for whatever reason, the user or passenger must inform the service provider by calling +49 941 22 22 0.

There may be waiting times of up to 45 minutes due to additional passengers getting in. There may be longer waiting times if flights are early or delayed.

Tirol/South Tirol Shuttle:

The passenger must arrive at a MUC airport transfer desk within 60 minutes of the flight landing in order not to lose their right to transport.

In an emergency, passengers can also use the free in-house telephone at the airport (92971 in Terminal 1 and 92972 in Terminal 2). At any other airport, the passenger can contact the service provider on +43-512-58415.

There may be waiting times due to additional passengers getting in.

STOP-OFFS

Stop-offs are not possible.

WAITING TIME ON PICK-UP 

Free waiting time for all pick-up locations except the airport:

15 minutes from the agreed pick-up time

Free waiting time for airport pickup (only if flight number is given):

60 minutes, starting from actual landing.

If no flight number was specified when booking, the regular waiting time of 15 minutes applies, regardless of the actual arrival time.

Extension of waiting time for all pick-up locations:

Destination booking:

Individually extending the waiting time is not possible.

Hourly booking:

The hourly booking starts with the arrival of the customer or after the waiting time has elapsed; the driver will stay booked for the passenger for duration of the reservation.  

MEETING POINT WITH THE DRIVER FOR AIRPORT PICK-UP

(only if flight number is specified)

Outside the baggage claim area at the gate assigned to the specified flight number (if provided), unless Sixt communicates otherwise. The driver will be holding a pickup sign with the name of the passenger. If the driver cannot be found, please contact the driver or Sixt mydriver at +49 30 340 440 440.

STOP-OFFS

Destination booking:

Stop-offs are not possible.

Hourly booking:

The driver can be informed of any desired stop-offs directly on site. 

If you have a specific wished route when booking, please share it under "Special requirements" in PASSENGER DETAILS.

As long as the stop-offs are within the booked time window, no additional fees will be charged. However, additional kilometre fees may apply, see Additional Kilometres section.

FREE KILOMETRES

Destination booking:

All the kilometres necessary to make the booked Destination trip.

Hourly booking:

All kilometres are free within the city limits (start and destination addresses must be in the same city). Start and end addresses in different cities include 50 km/hour.

BAGGAGE

One suitcase and one hand luggage per passenger are included free of charge.

Costs for additional baggage:

15 EUR/USD/GBP incl. taxes/ per piece of luggage. These charges are incurred in the currency in which they were booked.

CHANGES TO BOOKING

Extending the booking period for hourly bookings

In order to extend the booking, the customer must inform Sixt mydriver and receive a confirmation before starting the journey. If you would like to spontaneously extend it on site, the driver will decide whether this is possible depending on connecting trips.  It is only possible to extend it in 1 hour blocks for a fee.

Additional kilometres

The following is charged per additional kilometre:

Total price of the booking / originally booked distance = fee per additional kilometre

For example:

50 EUR/10 KM = 5 EUR per additional kilometre

These fees will be charged to the passenger after the journey.

If there are tolls within the area of the additional kilometres, the passenger must pay these him/herself.

Free:

up to 60 minutes before departure

50% of the fare:

up to 30 minutes before departure

75% of the fare:

up to 1 minute before departure

100% of the fare:

The passenger can ask the driver for additional waiting time. Extending the waiting time cannot be guaranteed. The driver will decide whether this is possible or not, depending, for example, on connecting journeys. Additional waiting time is charged in 15 minute blocks at 10 EUR/USD/GBP per minute plus tax. These charges are incurred in the currency in which they were booked.

MEETING POINT WITH THE DRIVER FOR AIRPORT PICK-UP

(only if flight number is specified)

After arrival and passing through baggage claim and customs, the passenger is required to call the number indicated in the booking confirmation email to indicate that they are ready to be picked up by the service provider. The driver will meet the passenger at the agreed side of the road. If the driver cannot be found, please contact the driver or Sixt mydriver at +49 30 340 440 440.

STOP-OFFS

Stop-offs are possible if the request is indicated in the "Special requirements" field under PASSENGER DETAILS and confirmed in writing by the travel service provider. A spontaneous stop-off on site will be possible only with the driver's agreement. For stop-offs, additional kilometre charges and additional waiting times may apply, see Additional Kilometres and Waiting Time at Pickup sections.

    ONE-WAY BOOKING

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Free cancellation until 60 minutes before start time.

    50% of the original price: for cancellations made between 59 and 31 min before start time.

    75% of the original price: for cancellations made between 30 and 1 min before start time.

    100% of the original price: in the event of a passenger no-show.

    NO-SHOW POLICY

    If the User or passenger does not show up without having cancelled the booking within 15 minutes after the agreed pickup time at the agreed pickup location, and s/he cannot be contacted via the telephone number provided in the booking, this shall be considered a no-show and the User is obligated to pay the full price of the Service Agreement.

    If the User or passenger ever requires additional waiting time, s/he must inform the Service Provider to wait.

    WAITING TIME

    The first 15 of minutes waiting time (beginning with scheduled pickup time) are free of charge.

    After the first 15  minutes, additional waiting time will be charged at a per-minute rate of 55 cents EUR/USD/GBP per minute, plus applicable tax. The respective currency used for this fee shall be the same as the User’s booking. The User or passenger must inform the Service Provider to wait.

    EXTRA TIME

    Any extra time during the ride (e.g. requested stopover) shall be subject to surcharge as additional waiting time.

    EXTRA KILOMETERS / MILEAGE

    One-way bookings include the kilometers that are necessary to get from the scheduled pick-up point to the booked destination. Each additional kilometer (e.g. detours for additional stops) is subject to prorated surcharge that is calculated by dividing the original booking price by the distance booked.

    HOURLY BOOKING

    KILOMETERS INCLUDED

    Unlimited mileage within the pick up city.

    For rides that start and end in different cities, the following mileage limitations apply:

    • 1 hour: 50 kilometers.
    • 2 hours: 100 kilometers.
    • 3 hours: 150 kilometers.
    • 4 hours: 200 kilometers.
    • 5 hours: 250 kilometers.
    • 6 hours: 300 kilometers.
    • 7 hours: 350 kilometers.
    • 8 hours: 400 kilometers.
    • 9 hours: 450 kilometers.
    • 10 hours: 500 kilometers.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Free cancellation until 12 hours before start time.

    50% of the original price: for cancellations made between 11h 59 min and 6 hours before start time.

    75% of the original price: for cancellations made between 5h 59 min and 3 hours before start time.

    100% of the original price: for cancellations made after 2h 59 min before start time

    NO-SHOW POLICY

    If the User or passenger does not show up at the agreed pickup time at the agreed pickup location without having cancelled the booking and the hours booked have expired, the User is obligated to pay the full price of the Service Agreement.

    WAITING TIME

    For hourly bookings the Service Provider will remain at the agreed pickup location until the hours booked have expired. To extend the time booked, the User or passenger must inform the Service Provider (see Extra Time below).

    EXTRA TIME

    Hourly bookings include the hours that are stated on the booking form. It is only possible to add Extra Time in 1 hour blocks to the original booking. Each additional block of Extra Time is subject to surcharge and is calculated according to the original hourly rate of the booking.

    EXTRA KILOMETERS / MILEAGE

    Hourly bookings are associated with maximum kilometers included which is indicated at time of booking. Each additional kilometer is subject to prorated surcharge that is calculated by dividing the original booking price by the associated maximum kilometers included.

    AIRPORT PICKUP

    MEETING THE DRIVER

    The driver will meet the passenger after baggage claim at the assigned exit gate for the passenger flight number (if the passenger provided the flight information during the booking process). The driver will hold a sign with the passenger name. In case of difficulty finding the driver, please contact by phone Sixt limousine or Service Provider. 

    NO-SHOW POLICY

    If the User or passenger does not show up within the advertised grace period after the agreed pickup time (or scheduled arrival time) at the agreed pickup location, and neither informs Sixt limousine via telephone or is contactable via the telephone number provided in the booking, the User is still obligated to pay the full price of the Service Agreement.

    If the User or passenger ever requires additional waiting time, s/he must inform the Service Provider to wait.

    WAITING TIME

    Depending on the Booking Class, the advertised amount of minutes of waiting time after the agreed pickup time are free of charge. Only if the User provides the airline and flight number that s/he will be arriving from, the Service Provider will check for changes to the scheduled arrival time and the agreed pickup time shall be updated to the flight’s actual arrival time.

    After the advertised amount of minutes of waiting time, additional waiting time will be charged at a per-minute rate of 55 cents EUR/USD/GBP per minute, plus applicable tax. The respective currency used for this fee shall be the same as the User’s booking. The User or passenger must inform the Service Provider to wait.

    Users who desire more time at the airport can request additional buffer to their pickup time (e.g. “please pickup 1.5 hour after flight’s actual arrival time”) in the comments field when making the Booking Request.

    For strict pickup time at airport, the User must not include the flight details in the booking request; but rather the exact terminal and gate. The One-way Booking Conditions shall apply.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    PASSENGER DOES NOT TURN UP

    If the passenger does not arrive at the agreed pick-up location without cancelling the booking within the free waiting period after the agreed pick-up time and if they cannot be reached via the telephone number stated in the booking, this will be regarded as non-appearance. In this case, the journey will be invoiced at 100%.

    DRIVER DOES NOT TURN UP

    If the driver does not arrive, the passenger must contact the driver directly. The passenger will always receive the telephone number by SMS at least one hour before departure and through the Sixt mydriver app. If the driver is not available, please contact the Sixt mydriver Service Hotline at +49 340 440 440 and we will find an alternative solution for the transfer.

    PASSENGER PREVENTS TRANSPORT

    If the passenger decides to refrain from a journey because the driver refuses special services (e.g. transport of children, animals, bulky luggage), which the transport service provider previously did not agree to, the total amount of the fees agreed for the journey remains payable, less any expenses saved.

    REFUSAL OF THE RIDE BY THE DRIVER

    The driver may refuse to carry out the journey if the passenger does not comply with the rules in the vehicle or if he or she suspects that the person booking or the passenger is part of an illegal organisation or uses the services in an illegal manner or for illegal purposes.

    RULES IN THE VEHICLE

    The following rules apply to every trip:

    • No smoking in the vehicle
    • Seat belts must be worn
    • Vehicle must be treated with care

    In the event of non-compliance with these rules and inappropriate behaviour such as vandalism and activities that make the driver feel unsafe or uncomfortable, the total amount of the agreed fees remains payable, less any expenses that may have been saved. Additionally, the service provider may claim compensation from the user or passenger for the necessary repair of damage to the vehicle or cleaning dirt in the vehicle caused by the passenger that exceeds the usual level.

    VEHICLE & BOOKING CLASSES

    The vehicle pictures shown on the platform serve exclusively to illustrate the different vehicle classes that belong to the individual car categories. Please take into consideration that any of these vehicles could be assigned to your reservation when choosing the desired category. The availability of some vehicles classes may also vary depending on the booking location.

    NUMBER OF PASSENGERS AND LUGGAGE

    The number of passengers and luggage permitted varies between booking classes. The current details are displayed when you select the booking class while booking.         

    TRANSPORT OF CHILDREN, ANIMALS, AND EXCESS LUGGAGE

    This information must be entered in the "Special requirements" field under PASSENGER DETAILS when booking.  If you would like a child seat, the age, height, and weight of the child are required. If this information is not included in the booking, the trip may not be carried out due to safety regulations depending on the legislation of the country in which the trip takes place. The trip will be fully charged.
